The Dallas Cowboys will begin the 2024 season with a road game against the Cleveland Browns on September 8, but they have a lot on their plate.

The Cowboys still possess one of the most talented teams in the NFL despite their decision to not actively seek free agents or players that were available on the trade market.

On May 21, the Cowboys’ official OTAs began, giving the coaching staff their first preview of the 2024 roster.

Regarding Trevon Diggs, the wide receiver, Dallas recently received some excellent news.

Cowboys News: Trevon Diggs Has Looked Great During His Rehab

On May 22, head coach Mike McCarthy addressed the media and provided some updates on the recovery of wide receiver Trevon Diggs and linebacker DeMarvion Overshown.

According to McCarthy, “They look great. Really just staying on time with their process. Trevon is hitting the four-day-a-week. He’s working primarily with Britt Brown” .

Is Diggs going to be ready for training camp? he went on, saying ‘it’ll be a conversation’. For Cowboy supporters, that is definitely music to their ears.

Dallas will begin training camp in late July, meaning that the pads won’t be on for roughly two months.

After tearing his ACL during practice on September 21, Diggs missed the rest of the campaign. The 25-year was recently paid in 2023, securing a $97 million, five-year extension.

He’s become one of the league’s top ball-hawking corners with a nice touch when it comes to ball placement. Throughout his career, Diggs contributed 173 total tackles, 52 interceptions, two defensive touchdowns, and 52 pass deflections.

It’s wonderful to hear that Diggs may be prepared for training camp since his return to the fold will invigorate the entire Cowboys team.
