‘He is definitely going to be sold’ – King predicts Everton to get rid of long-serving player

Bryan King thinks Everton will sell Michael Keane in light of the most recent transfer revelation.

The centre defender will be one among several players sold this summer as the Blues attempt to balance the books, according to the former Everton scout.

It follows an iNews story on April 24 that stated the Toffees are interested in Hull City’s Jacob Greaves, who was selected to the Championship Team of the Season.

Furthermore, King, who is only speaking to Goodison News, thinks Greaves might be brought in to take Keane’s place.

We are aware that Everton will have to offload players this summer, according to King.

“Keane is going to be sold, and he will be one of the players to go.

“Do they then add Greaves to the team to take his place? We will have to wait and find out.

Everton defender Michael Keane finished at Goodison Park

Keane, who signed with the Blues in 2017, hasn’t played much this season under Sean Dyche.

In his nine appearances in the tournament overall, the defender has only made four starts in the Premier League.

The 31-year-old’s Merseyside contract is scheduled to end in June 2025, therefore now would be the ideal time for the team to make a profit.

This season, Michael Keane hasn’t played much for Everton.

Even while they won’t likely raise an astronomical sum of money for Keane, any cash will probably be appreciated at Goodison.
