Theo Walcott clearly hasn’t done his research on Nottingham Forest after Liverpool comment on Sky Sports

Nottingham Forest managed to hand Liverpool their first loss of the season in the Premier League, but that’s something Theo Walcott doesn’t seem to have realised.

Nuno Espirito Santo has put everyone in the Premier League on notice following his Nottingham Forest team’s blistering start to the season.

Gary Neville expects Forest will finish in the top half, but with Nuno’s success at Wolves, they may have a chance to qualify for Europe.

Chris Wood’s health and form, as well as his goals, will undoubtedly have a significant impact on where we finish.

However, it hasn’t just been the New Zealand international; contributions have come from all over the pitch, as evidenced by the top flight’s second best defence.

Interestingly, Forest are not receiving the recognition they deserve from Theo Walcott, who recently made a mistake on Sky Sports.

Theo Walcott appears to discredit Nottingham Forest

Some experts appear to have overlooked Nottingham Forest and their impressive performance this season.

After all, we are the only team that has beaten Liverpool up to this point.

This was something Walcott seemed to have forgotten, as he issued a remark on Arne Slot’s behalf that surely enraged a few Nottingham Forest fans.

Speaking to Sky Sports ahead of Liverpool’s game against Arsenal, Walcott indicated that this is the Reds’ first genuine test in the Premier League this season.

“What intrigues me today is that Liverpool will be tested for the first time this season. “I haven’t faced anyone particularly strong.”

Nottingham Forest’s win over Liverpool

Nottingham Forest went to Anfield in September and handed Arne Slot his first defeat as Liverpool manager.

Ola Aina praised Callum Hudson-Odoi for his match-winning performance, saying, ‘it’s what he does’.

While we agree that Forest are not on the same level on paper as Arsenal, it is inaccurate to claim that Liverpool have not been tested this season because they have already been vanquished.

The Reds deserve credit for maintaining a clean sheet against one of the league’s top assaults, as Nuno Espirito’s game plan worked flawlessly.
