Both Real Madrid and Manchester United may be searching for a new manager soon if the Spanish club decides to fire the former Toffee.

Everton’s recent acquisition and new stadium on Merseyside have led to a positive outlook.

The Everton takeover is gaining momentum, with a late November to mid-December deadline set.

Dan Friedkin has even invited George Downing and Andy Bell to join his Everton board after they unsuccessfully attempted to acquire the club in June.

Carlo Ancelotti, a former Everton manager, has lately made headlines due to uncertainty over his future at Real Madrid.

Real Madrid actually stole Carlo Ancelotti from Everton in 2021 after Zinedine Zidane left, leaving the Toffees with a managerial search that ended with Rafa Benitez 30 days later.

Now, it appears that they are about to reverse their decision, which directly affected Everton, by returning to Zidane.

Carlo Ancelotti’s time with Everton

Farhad Moshiri persuaded Carlo Ancelotti to take over at Goodison Park in 2019, hoping he could create something special on Merseyside.

However, that did not go as planned.

The Italian manager’s one highlight was ending the 22-year wait for a Derby victory on the other side of Stanley Park, thanks to Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson.

To be fair to Ancelotti, he averaged 1.60 points per game at Everton, which is higher than Sean Dyche’s average of 1.29.
