Watching Sunderland defeat Burnley 1-0 from the stands, Jenson Seelt delivers a succinct three-word assessment.

After defeating Burnley 1-0 at home, Sunderland maintained their unbeaten start to the season.

Because Regis Le Bris had never managed a Championship team before, many people had doubts about his appointment to the Stadium of Light. However, those doubters were left in disbelief when Sunderland emerged victorious in their third straight Championship game, moving up to the top of the league.

The Black Cats won 1-0 at the Stadium of Light thanks to a goal from Romaine Mundle halfway through the first half. Given that Burnley was just demoted and is one of the favourites to return to the Premier League this season, Sunderland should be given all the credit for holding off the opposition.

Despite the fact that Jack Clarke has since left the Stadium of Light, they have demonstrated their ability to compete against the Championship’s top teams. Defensor Jason Seelt acknowledged this this season and sent a message to the Sunderland team via social media following the thrilling win.

The Dutch centre back Seelt left PSV for Sunderland during the previous season, but a significant knee injury he sustained in the latter part of the year limited his playing time.

As he continues his recuperation, he was present at the Stadium of Light for the outstanding display by Le Bris. The defender posted on Instagram, saying, “Cmonnnn 3 points.”

Expectations are already appearing to be modest, as many are speculating as to whether Sunderland may accomplish something exceptional at this early stage. It was the third victory and clean sheet for Le Bris’ team thus far.
