The 24-year-old international from Hungary signed a four-year contract at The Hawthorns after leaving Barnsley on Saturday. “I think some of my best attributes are being good on the ball, driving forward with the ball and trying to make things happen for my team. I’ve got good energy and I think my positional awareness and understanding of the game will help the team a lot.

“I have the ability to play multiple positions. I have spent my entire playing career in the middle of the pitch, but you can also see me as an aggressive wing-back out on the left side. Hopefully, I can start as many games as I can while making my case in either of those places.

“I genuinely want to succeed here, both individually and as a member of the group.”

Styles, who made his breakthrough and excelled at the Tykes under former manager Valerien Ismael before joining the Baggies, was also commended by Corberan for his brains and talent.
