Tottenham’s New Signing Sidelined for Everton Showdown

Spurs Face Everton Clash Without New Signing Solanke

Solanke is out after being knocked by Leicester.

Dominic Solanke, the newest addition to Tottenham, will be out for Saturday’s Premier League match against Everton because of a regrettable ankle injury. The Bournemouth acquisition, who cost £65 million, took a knock during Spurs’ first game against Leicester. The injury did not get better even though Solanke finished the game, and manager Ange Postecoglou confirmed that Solanke will not be available for the next game.

Dom will miss tomorrow because, according to Postecoglou, “he picked up a knock in the last game and he got through the game but it flared up the day after.”

Richarlison prepared to take over

Richarlison is anticipated to start in Solanke’s place now that he is sidelined. Postecoglou gave an estimate of when Solanke might return, stressing that although the injury is worrying, it is not life-threatening.

He suffered an ankle injury quite early on after something brushed across his ankle. All that is dependent upon his recuperation upon his return; naturally, we have the international break. but it’s not a big deal,” the Spurs manager stated.

Spurs’ ongoing injury problems

Tottenham is worried about more than just Solanke’s absence. Rodrigo Bentancur, a midfielder, is also out due to a concussion. Postecoglou emphasised the team’s cautious approach to head injuries, making sure that Bentancur’s recuperation is given first priority before he is allowed to rejoin the team.

“We adhere to concussion protocols and will always exercise caution when dealing with head injuries.” We’ll take our time with Rodrigo before sending him back out there, but the good news is that he’s recovered incredibly well and completed all the tests, Postecoglou said..

back of Bissouma, but questions still exist

Yves Bissouma may be relied upon in Bentancur’s absence, however his recent controversy raises concerns. The incident, which hasn’t entirely been forgotten inside the team, saw the Malian midfielder consuming laughing gas and resulted in his suspension. Postecoglou made a suggestion that more handling of the situation is necessary, even though Bissouma is open for selection.

“We have some choices there, but Biss is available. The goal of building the team in the off-season was to prepare for situations like this. Although the bridge is still being built, he is up for selection, Postecoglou stated.
