Predicted Newcastle XI to face Bournemouth as Eddie Howe makes two changes and drops £28m player

Newcastle United are hoping to make it two Premier League wins from two on Sunday, but Eddie Howe will have to change his starting lineup.

Eddie Howe’s 10 men fought valiantly to earn all three points as the Magpies defeated Southampton 1-0 to start the new Premier League season.

Newcastle’s job was made more difficult by Fabian Schar’s soft red card in the first half, but Joelinton was able to secure the victory at St. James’ Park.

Newcastle United is now on the road, traveling to the Vitality Stadium on Sunday at 2 p.m. to play Eddie Howe’s former team, Bournemouth.

Howe will have to make at least one change to his team, and this is our predicted Newcastle United starting XI to face Bournemouth this weekend.

Fabian Schar suspended for Newcastle

When Newcastle United plays Bournemouth, they will undoubtedly make one alteration. Schar will miss the first two of his three-match punishment for his “headbutt” on Ben Brereton Diaz.

Since a replacement center back has not yet arrived, Emil Krafth will start and partner Dan Burn in the middle of defense.

Krafth will hopefully play just as well against Bournemouth as he did against Southampton. As Newcastle gets closer to landing Marc Guehi, he will have more pressure to perform well.

First start for Lloyd Kelly against his former club

Geordie Boot Boys anticipate that Newcastle United will make a second change at the defense, starting Lloyd Kelly in place of Lewis Hall.

Although he didn’t play his best, the latter started the season’s opening game. Due to an early booking, the £28 million player was hampered and Kelly took his place for the last 20 minutes.

Kelly will replace Hall at left-back because Howe could decide to make his team a little more formidable and difficult to beat because Newcastle is playing away from home.

Kelly, who left Bournemouth at the end of the previous season, would be making his first start for the Toon against his old team.

Tino Livramento is anticipated to continue at right-back ahead of Kieran Trippier in other positions.

Jacob Murphy starts after early sub in Newcastle opener

The Newcastle midfield will remain unchanged. In addition to Sean Longstaff and Bruno Guimaraes, Joelinton was excellent against Southampton.

There won’t be any adjustments made to the attack either, but Howe will be hopeful that his front three can make a bigger difference when the Magpies play Bournemouth.

Schar’s early red card against Southampton destroyed Newcastle’s strategy, forcing Jacob Murphy to come on as a replacement. Murphy, who will have another opportunity to start on Sunday, realized the irony of playing for barely 20 minutes or so after the game.

He will play offensive with Anthony Gordon and Alexander Isak, two players who were surprisingly quiet the previous week.Predicted XI vs Bournemouth: Pope; Livramento, Krafth, Burn, Kelly; Longstaff, Bruno, Joelinton; Murphy, Isak, Gordon.
