Chelsea haven’t been as aggressive in making high-priced signings this summer, but they’ve still made a splash in the transfer market by acquiring top talents like Willian Estevao, Euro 2024 standout Renato Veiga, Barcelona gem Marc Guiu, and Leicester City’s promising Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
These quality, relatively inexpensive signings (with Dewsbury-Hall being the most expensive at 35 million euros) are in line with the club’s transfer strategy since Todd Boehly became owner, focusing on building for the future.
To continue improving their attack, which struggled last season apart from breakout star Cole Palmer, Chelsea will need to offload some unwanted players. Striker Armando Broja, who had a disappointing loan spell at Wolves, has been on Chelsea’s exit list for a while.
According to journalist Mark Douglas, Broja is interested in a move to Premier League side Everton as a replacement for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but a transfer to AC Milan now seems more likely.
