A night after Spain beat England 2-1 in the Euro 2024 final, they held a trophy parade in the country’s capital city of Madrid.
Luis de la Fuente’s team gave Rodri and his Spanish teammates every reason to celebrate as they won their fourth European Championship, the most by a country in the history of the competition.
With three of these trophies going into the tournament, Germany and Spain were tied.
But Luis de la Fuente and company made history by being the first team to create a unique piece of history, capping off an amazing competition.
Unsurprisingly, the man who makes £220,000 a week, along with his teammates, were in high spirits during the trophy parade.

RTVE released a film during Spain’s trophy parade to commemorate their victory against England in Euro 2024. The video featured a well-known chant for Rodri that was heard from both the player and his teammates.

The official Manchester City YouTube channel posted a video of the Sky Blues players yelling the same song praising the midfield maestro in the locker room following his team’s 1-0 triumph over Inter Milan in the 2023 Champions League final.
