Tottenham intends to extend the £22 million forward contract.

While Spurs may not have made many acquisitions, the Lilywhites have seen a number of faces leave.

When it comes to player exits, Daniel Levy has been rather busy getting rid of Postecoglou’s undesired players.

Numerous players, including Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, are still in the running to leave N17 this summer as interest from across Europe is being shown in them.

One player, though, is expected to get his contract extended and won’t be going this summer.

Journalist Ben Jacobs reports that Tottenham will soon initiate Heung-min Son’s contract renewal.

The South Korean’s contract at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is currently coming to an end after 12 months.

But as of right now, his contractual stay will be prolonged by a further 12 months, expiring in the summer of 2026.
Heung-min Son is still performing at the highest level possible.

A few people might be surprised to learn that Son recently turned 32.

The South Korean is still performing at the highest level despite being far into his forties, which is rather astounding.

Son’s comeback to the Premier League last season was stunning, with 17 goals and 10 assists. In his nine seasons in England, he has only scored more goals in the league once.

With a remarkable return of 162 goals for Spurs thus far, he is proving to be one of the Premier League’s true steals, having only cost the team £22 million.
