The midfielder has successfully transferred to Juventus.

After nearly three years with Everton Women, Hanna Bennison completed her transfer to Juventus.

Following the losses of Academy graduate Annie Wilding, Eleanor Dale, and experienced attacker Toni Duggan, the midfielder has joined the Italian powerhouses.

The Blues will find it difficult to accept Bennison’s loss, though.

The former Rosengård star, who moved to Merseyside in the summer of 2021, won the Toffees Young Player of the Season during her first season. She took home a silver medal from the Olympics in Tokyo when she was eighteen years old, and she went on to win Goal’s NXGN Award as the world’s greatest young female football player at the time.

Despite being only twenty-one years old, Sweden has already earned 37 caps for her nation. She has played in more than half of the seven FIFA Women’s World Cup games in 2023, helping the Swedes advance to the last four.

With Bennison out of the picture, Brian Sorensen will switch his attention to the center of midfield, with Kathrine Kuhl returning to parent club Arsenal once her loan with the Blues expires.

Nonetheless, Everton has signed a few big names to new contracts; defender Elise Stenevik and goalkeeper Courtney Brosnan have both extended their contracts through June 2026.

Dutch attacker Katja Snoeijs, who has led the Toffees in scoring for the past two seasons, has also extended her contract with the team for an additional two years.
