Fans of Leeds United have every right to go crazy at Friday’s formal announcement.

Red Bull is the front-of-shirt sponsor of the new Leeds United home uniform, which has angered the team’s supporters.

On July 5, the Whites announced via X that they would be releasing pictures of Dan James, Mateo Joseph, and Ethan Ampadu wearing the new shirt.

The white body with blue trim and a hint of yellow in the collar is part of the design, but it’s not the option that’s drawn attention.

There were first concerns about how Red Bull’s funding and sponsorship would appear on the uniforms once they were unveiled.

With their red and yellow insignia positioned in the centre of their new uniform for the forthcoming campaign, Leeds fans’ worst nightmares have come true.

LeedsUnited reveals their Red Bull-sponsored uniform.

Archie Gray has been sold to Tottenham but so far other stars like Crysencio Summerville and Wilfried Gnonto are still at Elland Road.

Although with that being said, it may say a lot that neither has featured in the main image for the kit launch.

Leeds can applaud the massive energy drink company for their investment, but supporters won’t be happy to see a red and yellow sponsor on a Leeds jersey.

If it weren’t for the sponsor design, the Whites’ uniform would be considered one of their best in recent memory.

They could have added so much more to the design, like just text or changing the hues to blue and yellow.

Even though there may be larger issues in the end, Leeds supporters will get a chance to comment on the new shirt in the days to come.
