Aston Villa could sign ‘world-class’ £77m forward with Unai Emery convinced he can get the best out of him

This summer, Aston Villa has been one of the busiest clubs thus far, and it doesn’t appear like things will be slowing down anytime soon.

Villa has already closed a number of deals and has been active in the market as they attempt to organise their finances.

Along with the players that have already joined, like Ian Maatsen, Ross Barkley, and Samuel Illing-Junior, Villa has also sold a few, as Tim Iroegbunam, Douglas Luiz, and Morgan Sanson have all moved on to other teams.

However, Unai Emery is not taking a break and is trying to bolster the ranks with more depth and talent in preparation for Champions League play next season.

Additionally, rumours from Spain state that the Villa manager is trying to sign a player who previously

Joao Felix might be signed by Aston Villa.

Felix, who is scheduled to leave Atletico Madrid this summer, is reportedly being pursued by Villa. Although Felix had a disappointing time with Chelsea in England, he is still regarded as a top talent, and it is said that Villa are pushing for Felix to sign on Emery’s advice, believing that he can get the best out of Felix if he does sign. Felix, who is still only 24 years old, has not exactly performed as well as he would have liked since making the big-money move from Benfica to Atletico Madrid; nevertheless, Felix could be given another opportunity by Villa to turn around his career.

Given that Felix is paid enormous pay in Spain, it is implied that Villa has the financial wherewithal to pull off a deal.

Felix’s departure from Atletico was first requested for about £77 million, but since it was last summer, the asking price may be much lower this summer.

Hailed as a “world-class” talent, Felix is obviously a player, and Emery has shown at Villa that he has the ability to elevate players to previously unheard-of levels.

If Felix does indeed arrive, Villa supporters will be eager to see him as a player.
