The conclusion on the Liverpool reunion indicates that Philippe Coutinho is “very close” to moving.

Philippe Coutinho, a former winger for Liverpool, is expected to leave Aston Villa during the summer transfer window.

The winger for Aston Villa and former Liverpool player Philippe Coutinho is supposedly almost certain to sign a contract to join his childhood team, Vasco da Gama.

The 32-year-old will be sent out on loan to the team that helped him grow before his huge Inter transfer, according to John Percy of The Telegraph. Unai Emery does not see him in his plans at Villa Park, thus it is thought that all parties are happy about the switch.

When Coutinho arrived at Anfield from the Serie A powerhouses in 2013, he was well-liked by the supporters. Over the course of 201 games, the Brazilian would score 54 goals and dish out 43 assists for the Reds.

The midfielder’s views did, however, slightly deteriorate in 2018 as he advocated for a January move to Barcelona. Although Coutinho’s time in Catalonia did not turn out as planned, the midfield player stated earlier this year that he had no regrets about his decision to leave Merseyside.

“Not at all. I never regret anything,” he declared. “Because I am the first to demand of myself on the pitch, I remind myself that I have to offer more on the pitch, thus things did not turn out as I envisioned, as people expected, or as I expected.
I have always conducted myself in a very professional manner, I tried everything, and I have no regrets. Playing for Barcelona was always my ambition, so I went there, enjoyed myself, met lots of people, won some titles, and it will always hold a special place in my heart.”

Coutinho returned to the Premier League with Villa in after a turbulent time at Camp Nou, which included a more fruitful loan spell at Bayern Munich.
