Behind The Scenes | Hammers launch 1960s-inspired Home Kit

Discover the inner workings of our 2024/25 Home Kit.

We unveiled the design of our Home Kit for the upcoming campaign on Wednesday, drawing inspiration from our golden heyday of the 1960s, when we won trophies on both the local and international arenas.

A cinematic launch film was also released, featuring cameos from some of the Club’s well-known supporters, including Tony Way, Harry Collett, and Hero Fiennes Tiffin, along with legendary 1965 Cup Winners’ Cup winners Brian Dear and Roberta Moore, the late, great West Ham and England captain Bobby Moore’s daughter. It also brings together future prospect George Earthy and current stars like Jarrod Bowen.

The movie features a specially commissioned music by The Rifles, mastered at St. John’s Wood’s renowned Abbey Road Studios. Joel Stoker, lead singer for the Hammers, was so taken by the instrumental version that he composed a song (‘Sweet Euphoria’) with the band, which will be released as a single along with the new Home Kit.

It was filmed in Bethnal Green’s E.Pellicci, the best-preserved old school café, which is located in the centre of West Ham United’s East End.

This striking uniform honours our past victories while demonstrating the tenacity, enthusiasm, and flair of the teams that won the FA Cup and the European Cup Winners’ Cup in back-to-back seasons, as well as their crucial part in both campaigns.
