Jaden Philogene makes transfer decision as Everton ponder bid for move
Jaden Philogene is more “keen” on a move to Ipswich Town this summer despite interest from Everton and West Ham, according to BBC Sport.
The media outlet reported on 4 July that the Tractor Boys and the former Aston Villa man are in “advanced talks” ahead of a deal being agreed.
The Toffees are still keeping a close eye on Philogene but the attacker believes a move to the Premier League new boys is the best move for his career at this time.
Why Everton should make a bid for Jaden Philogene this summer
The attacker [Fabrizio Romano, 4 July] has already received a proposal from the Toffees to go to Merseyside this summer, but he appears to be determined on moving to Ipswich.
Even though this might be the case, Sean Dyche’s lineup is lacking a player because of the departure of loanee Arnaut Danjuma.
His 2023–24 season was comparatively noteworthy, as he contributed 18 goals in just 32 appearances for Liam Rosenior in total that season.
Although Philogene feels a transfer to the Premier League’s new boys is the best course of action for his career right now, the Toffees are still keeping a close eye on him.
He was a vital member of Hull’s team, and no one could have predicted the young man’s enormous effect.
especially considering that he only played in 39 games during his previous Championship season with Cardiff in 2022–2023.
Furthermore, it is said that a club would only need to pay £15 million [talkSPORT, June 28] to get him to leave Hull, making the transfer practically a no-brainer for any interested parties.
