Liverpool retain interest in signing Anthony Gordon whose head has been turned by the prospect of moving to Anfield, though a report has revealed how Newcastle aim to put the saga to rest once and for all.

Gordon would make it quite evident that he is not planning to leave St. James’ Park anytime soon if he were to sign a new contract.
