Harry Kane says £50m player Tottenham sold is the toughest player he’s ever faced in training

Some of the world’s top defensive players have instructed Harry Kane.

Kane has had to train against some of the top defenders of this generation, from Jan Vertonghen in his prime to Alphonso Davies.

But the England captain claims that a man Spurs sold a few years ago is the hardest player he has ever faced in training.

In fact, Kane described Kyle Walker as his hardest opponent in training in an interview with Pro Direct Soccer on TikTok, saying that he finds it extremely challenging to play against his current England colleague and former Tottenham player.

Kyle Walker is Harry Kane’s toughest opponent in training

Kane spoke about what it’s like to train against Walker.

“Toughest opponent in training?” Kane was asked.

Toughest opponent in training? I would say Kyle Walker again,” Kane said.

Kyle Walker is a nightmare

No striker in all of football will be jealous of Harry Kane in this situation.

Before Walker’s £50 million move to Manchester City, training against him every day at Tottenham must have been a misery; it must still be a nightmare with England.

Walker might not be the world’s most technically proficient football player, but there might not be a defender in world football with his physical makeup.

Walker is tough for any striker to overlook or get past because of his incredible combination of strength and speed.

When playing against a defence, Kane is one of the smartest strikers in the game, but there isn’t much you can do about it.

Walker may be getting older, but in recent seasons, he hasn’t displayed any symptoms of slowing down.

Walker is a striker’s worst nightmare, but fortunately for Kane, he only has to play against him during international breaks, meaning that he doesn’t have to play against him very much these days in training.
