Rangers player wanted by three Scottish clubs as impressive form sparks transfer chase

 

The Rangers player is generating transfer interest.

Rangers custodian Jay Hogarth has attracted interest from three Scottish clubs following a solid finish to the season.

Before joining Dumbarton for the second half of the season, the academy product was loaned out to Alloa. Hogarth made 22 appearances in the Sons’ return to League One from the fourth tier, allowing him to pursue opportunities in that league.

 

 

According to the Daily Record, Queen of the South, Arbroath, and Kelty Hearts have expressed interest in signing him.Rangers are examining loan possibilities for the 20-year-old to increase his senior exposure.

After the departure of backup Jon McLaughlin, senior manager Philippe Clement now has four options for goalkeepers: Jack Butland, Liam Kelly, Robby McCrorie, and Kieran Wright. Dumbarton and Rangers had arranged for Hogarth to play against his parent club for the Sons in the Scottish Cup last season, but the plan was scrapped.
