Fans are divided as an 18-year-old academy standout is “set to join Leicester” in a “separate deal.”

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester is almost signed by Chelsea. Fabrizio Romano has just given the transfer his famous “here we go!” treatment, claiming that everything has been verbally agreed upon. The midfielder will cost Chelsea £30 million. However, as we’re starting to see more and more this summer, there might be more involved than just money involved. Romano then added that Michael Golding, a gifted Chelsea youth player, could be leaving. “Chelsea talent Michael Golding set to join Leicester City in separate deal after Dewsbury-Hall moves to #CFC for £30 million,” Romano wrote.

“Talks underway between clubs.”Obviously having been informed off by the same source, top Chelsea reporter Matt Law of the Daily Telegraph reiterated the same information.

Officially, it’s a separate contract, but it’s likely that discussions over both transfers occurred concurrently and that everything was planned to maximum PSR compliance for both parties.

Chelsea’s agreement to sign Dewsbury-Hall #cfc has led Leicester to wish to recruit Michael Golding from Chelsea.
