To defeat Brighton, Chelsea might trade three players to Leicester for Dewsbury-Hall.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is a target for Chelsea, who may persuade Leicester to sell by enticing the Foxes with some of their own players.

In an attempt to disrupt Brighton’s pursuit of Leicester’s star midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Chelsea has entered the competition to recruit him. It seems that the 25-year-old was headed to the AMEX Stadium, while Seagulls midfielder Jakub Moder was reportedly travelling in the other direction.

After working with the Englishman during his one season in command at the King Power Stadium, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca is eager to work with Dewsbury-Hall again. The Blues are rumoured to have made an official move for the star on Friday.

Additionally, Express Sport examines three Chelsea players. Should the 2015–16 Premier League winners reject the offer, Maresca could dangle in front of his previous employers to persuade them to approve Dewsbury–Hall’s move to Stamford Bridge.

Armando Broja

In order to have a successful season upon their return to the Premier League, Leicester will require firepower. Additionally, Chelsea may suggest Armando Broja, who is no longer in favour at Stamford Bridge.

Three seasons ago, Broja had a good loan spell with Southampton and was considered a future star of the game. However, since sustaining a severe ACL injury at the end of 2022, he has not recovered.

The 22-year-old may find it difficult to break into the Chelsea starting lineup the next season and may use the opportunity to perform well in the Premier League in the east Midlands once more.

Trevoh Chalobah

If Leicester would prefer defensive reinforcements, Chelsea could instead offer them Trevoh Chalobah in exchange for Dewsbury-Hall.

The 24-year-old centre-back appeared to have a big future at Stamford Bridge after starring during Frank Lampard’s first spell in the dugout.

But he has fallen out of favour in recent years and started just 10 Premier League matches under Mauricio Pochettino last season. He is another player who would surely love to resurrect his career elsewhere.

Robert Sanchez

When Leicester last played in the Premier League, they had goalie struggles. Danny Ward and Daniel Iversen split time in the net, but when given the chance to shine, they pretended to be dishonest.

After signing goalkeeper Mads Hermansen from Brondy, Leicester improved their defence significantly the previous season, giving up just 41 goals in 46 Championship games.

Although the Dane is expected to succeed in the Premier League, Robert Sanchez, a seasoned starter in the top division who played for Brighton before coming to Stamford Bridge, would undoubtedly be welcomed by Leicester. The 26-year-old has already lost ground to Djordje Petrovic in west London’s hierarchy, so the Blues have the financial wherewithal to give him up and add a fresh backup.
