Report reveals star “most likely” to leave Sunderland this summer

Jack Clarke is the star that’s most likely to leave Sunderland this summer, according to a report from the Sunderland Echo.

During his loan period before making the permanent move, the winger helped the Black Cats advance to the Championship. He has been nothing short of extraordinary during his time at the Stadium of Light.

The player has been able to step up his game since permanently joining the team in 2022. He has grown into one of the division’s most dangerous attackers and has been a major contributor to several of Wearside’s recent victories.

It is hardly surprising that he has drawn a lot of attention lately, given Southampton is rumored to be quite interested in the player.

Together with Crystal Palace and Wolves, West Ham is also vying for the player; Palace has a history of successfully utilizing the Championship market.

Given that the player’s contract expires in 2026, the Black Cats may have the best chance to acquire a high price for the 23-year-old, who appears certain to play in the Premier League sooner rather than later, during the current transfer window.

Furthermore, Ian Harte, Clarke’s agent, thinks it unlikely that the player will sign a new contract, which could compel the Wearside club to hand this summer.
