Speaking on The Daily Briefing, transfer guru Romano repeated Crystal Palace’s interest in Bellingham, reaffirming that he’s a player on their summer transfer wishlist.

Romano also told the fans that Bellingham is still being liked by other teams, but that he has a lot of control over his future and not the Sunderland owners, who would sell him for £20 million.

According to Romano, Brentford and other English teams are also interested in Bellingham. However, I would keep an eye on Palace because they are pushing hard.

They want Bellingham because their boss, Oliver Glasner, wants him. Now it depends on the player; if he says yes, they’re ready to go all out on this one.Jobe Bellingham, brother of Jude Bellingham looks on during the UEFA EURO 2024 group stage match between Denmark and England at Frankfurt Arena on ...

What next for Jobe Bellingham at Sunderland

Now it looks like Bellingham has to make a big choice this summer: he can either stay at Sunderland under Regis Le Bris or try to get a move to Crystal Palace.

The draw of Palace and the Premier League is clear. People from Crystal Palace have had a lot of luck shopping in the Championship. Eberechi Eze went on to play for England, and Michael Olise is almost a Bayern Munich player.

But it’s still not a given that Bellingham will play every game at Selhurst Park next season. The 18-year-old got mixed reviews when he was at Sunderland last season.

He still needs to improve a lot, and it might be best for both him and Sunderland to stay on Wearside for another year.
For Sunderland’s sake, they should keep Bellingham for another season. Another year of Championship football could help him get ready for a move to the Premier League, and it could also raise his trade value.
