Former Nottingham Forest midfielder Ben Osborn has now completed his move to local rivals Derby County.
The 29-year-old joined the City Ground first squad after rising through the ranks of Forest’s development programme, but he has since moved on.
Ben Osborn left Forest in 2019 after spending years there, and his most recent employment was with Sheffield United.
Osborn has already driven the hour south to Pride Park after his contract at Bramall Lane ended.
The midfielder has since had a chance to speak out after concluding his transfer earlier this week, having played for the Reds.

Osborn was able to accumulate 230 appearances throughout his tenure at the City Ground, making 16 goals and dishing out 31 assists.
Before joining the Blades, the 29-year-old established himself as a mainstay in the Forest midfield during their Championship days.
Osborn made his dreams of playing in the Premier League with the Blades, but given Sheffield United’s struggles to stay in the top division, he would have preferred more consistency.
After moving to Pride Park, Osborn acknowledged to the public that, even after joining Forest, he was still a Derby supporter.
“As soon as I left Sheffield United, I found that Derby were interested,” he said.
“It came out of the blue a little bit. I played here when I was really young, got released and went to the other side of the A52 for a number of years but still remained a Derby fan until I started getting close to the Forest first team. It all got a little muddled up then!
“I’ve gone full circle, it’s been emotional but I’m really excited to get going.”
Despite his Derby connection, Ben Osborn remained a faithful servant.
Osborn did a great job for Forest, even if it will always be a little sad to have a player who grew up cheering for your local rivals.
And his last-minute score against the Rams in 2015 was evidence of that, showing that he could handle the task at hand.
Since the two teams haven’t played in more than two years, this signing does highlight the enormous gulf that separates the two organisations.
Even though Osborn’s attempts to establish himself as a regular Premier League player were unsuccessful, he may now feel some joy in representing the team he grew up cheering for. However, they might want to forget the goal he scored against them nine years ago.
