Tottenham transfer news Doctor shares Archie Gray verdict at Leeds United

Leeds United midfielder Archie Gray’s fitness levels are impressive and that bodes well ahead of a potential Tottenham transfer, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that the 18-year-old’s availability for all 46 regular-season Championship games this past season is a great indicator that he can already cope with the physical demands of senior football.

This comes after The Athletic reported on 14 June that Spurs and Borussia Dortmund are among the clubs keeping tabs on him and Dan Bardell even suggested that the Lilywhites may offer two players in return to sign him.

Discussing the state of play with Gray exclusively with Tottenham News, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said: “He played 44 games this past season and the other two he was on the bench.

That’s an indicator of good fitness levels but the caveat is that it’s the second tier.

The key things that Spurs will have to look at are his fitness metrics and how he’s responding to first-team training.

If he’s responding well and playing up to the standards the staff want him to then he could be an option.

Gray’s potential move to Tottenham could be highly beneficial for his career.

At Spurs, he would be surrounded by experienced players and a coaching staff dedicated to developing young talent.

The club’s emphasis on youth development and playing style could provide Gray with the platform to enhance his skills and adapt to the demands of top-level football.

Additionally, the prospect of playing in the Premier League and European competitions would offer him invaluable experience.

In other Tottenham news, a claim has emerged on Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey undergoing his Spurs medical ahead of a potential transfer.
