Tottenham is also interested in the Barcelona winger that Everton is weighing a £16 million bid for.

According to rumours that surfaced earlier this week, FC Barcelona is reportedly considering a transfer for Hull City winger Jaden Philogene.

The 22-year-old winger was billed as Barça’s backup option in the event that either Luis Diaz or Nico Williams, their top targets on the left flank, fail to materialise.

It was also stated that attempts had been made to get in touch in order to investigate the prospect of a loan transfer with a purchase option.

But going into the summer transfer window, Jaden Philogene is not just a target for Barcelona.

The Daily Mail claims that Everton, a Premier League team, is considering making a £16 million offer for the 22-year-old English winger.

In addition, West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur have expressed interest in the England Under-21 international.

After moving from Aston Villa to Hull City, Philogene had a strong season there last year. With 12 goals from 32 games, the winger concluded the Championship season displaying his flair, dribbling skills, and goal-scoring acumen.

When Philogene was still at Aston Villa, he had previously drawn interest from PSG, Borussia Dortmund, and Barça. Furthermore, it seems that the Catalans are keeping tabs on him and considering a summer transfer.

The 22-year-old will now face off against three Premier League teams if the Blaugrana are serious in acquiring him. It’s also important to remember that Aston Villa has the option to repurchase the winger.

However, as was previously indicated, Philogene is primarily Barcelona’s backup plan; their main targets are Athletic Club’s Nico Williams and Liverpool’s Luis Diaz.

Barça will probably need to make a significant sell in order to pay for a move for one of the players because neither will be cheap.
