Smith Emile After hearing about Aston Villa, Rowe will inform Arsenal that he wishes to go. – sources

According to sources who spoke to Football Insider, Emile Smith Rowe is scheduled to notify Arsenal that he wishes to leave the team due to interest from Aston Villa, Fulham, and Crystal Palace.

Smith Rowe is reportedly eager to leave the Emirates after failing to earn a spot in Mikel Arteta’s first team and searching for a starting XI job elsewhere.

On June 4, Football Insider reported that Arsenal is open to receiving high-ball bids for the 23-year-old, who still has two years left on his current deal and now seems unlikely to sign new terms.

Smith Rowe has struggled to establish consistent playing time for the Gunners since a protracted injury layoff in 2022; in the last two years, he has made just three Premier League starts.

Aston Villa – who previously made an approach to Arsenal for the three-cap England man but were rebuffed – remain interested and possess the lure of Champions League football, while Fulham and Crystal Palace have make enquiries about a potential deal.

Smith Rowe’s career is advancing, and it is less likely that the Hale End alum will stay at Arsenal in the long run.

Although it is still Arteta’s preference to keep Smith Rowe on the team, the offensive midfielder has never been short of suitors. However, if he stays on the team for one more year, his market worth would drop dramatically because his contract expires in 2026.

Arsenal is refusing to accept offers below £30 million, citing the player’s age, homegrown premium, and past success as reasons for its stance.

Football Insider claimed on June 14 that Arsenal will be forced to accept a bid of at least £30 million as the team looks to raise money by selling a number of marginal players.

Smith Rowe himself – whose only other career experience has been short stints on loan with RB Leipzig and Huddersfield Town – will be confident he can revive his career at a new club and force himself back into England reckoning.
