Rapid Bucharest president Viorel Moldovan acknowledged to Romanian daily Orange Sport that the club has received an offer for the 23-year-old hitman, but it does not meet their valuation.
“Rrahmani is a rapid player. He is an excellent footballer. We continue to rely on him. “Yes, there is currently an offer for Rrahmani, but it is insufficient in comparison to his level and value,” Moldovan stated.
“I really want him to stay and help us achieve our goals.”
Rrahmani has also replied to reports, stating that despite his desire to play at a higher level, he is committed to his current club.
The 6ft 2 inch tall striker is in high demand, and Rangers News has discovered that Celtic are also keeping an eye on Rrahmani’s position; Neil Lennon, incidentally, is Rapid’s manager.
Celtic, like Clement with Dessers, is waiting on other deals before making a move.
Oh Hyeon-gyu is expected to go, with Adam Idah being the preferred target after impressing more for Parkhead than Fabio Silva did for Rangers during their loan periods.
