Tottenham fail with bid to sign Jacob Ramsey, Giovani Lo Celso was offered

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing Jacob Ramsey from Aston Villa in a part-exchange deal by offering Giovani Lo Celso this summer.

According to a report from The Times, the North London club submitted an offer to sign the Aston Villa midfielder and they included Giovani Lo Celso as a part of the deal. However, the West Midlands club have decided to turn down the offer. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham decide to return with another offer for the player. Ramsey is highly rated in English football and he has a bright future stop he could develop into a key player for Spurs with the right guidance.

In addition to being a versatile winger, he can play as an attacking midfielder and center midfielder. He will give the Tottenham midfield more inventiveness, technical proficiency, and energy.

However, Lo Celso has been connected to a summertime departure from the team. The Argentine international has to leave Tottenham in order to play more frequently because he has dropped down the hierarchy there. It might be best for him to relocate to Aston Villa. He has already collaborated with Unai Emery, so a reunion might be beneficial to all sides.

The 28-year-old is versatile enough to operate in a number of attacking roles and he could be a key player for Aston Villa. However, the West Midlands club are not keen on a part exchange deal and it will be interesting to see how the situation develops. Ramsey would be a long-term addition Ramsey is unlikely to get regular game time at Aston Villa next season and leaving the club could be ideal for him.
