Tim Iroegbunam, the Blues’ summer acquisition who signed from Aston Villa for an undisclosed price last week, has an international teammate in Dixon, a quick and strong defender who has been capped for the Three Lions at the Under-20 level.
Commenting on the new agreement, Kevin Thelwell said, “We’re pleased to recognise Roman’s development at Everton with this new contract.” The fact that the national team has acknowledged him indicates that he is a player who has made steady improvement during his time in the Academy.
