The Rossoneri aren’t giving up on chasing Zirkzee, though, according to the Italian website Calciomercato.com.
The team is not ready to give up on the idea of signing him just yet; he is still their top target.
The player is keen to join the Rossoneri and they are willing to pay his €40 million release clause.
They’re still holding out hope that they can eventually work out a transfer agreement with Joorabchian.
