“Medical will happen” – Spurs “close in” on signing a forward for £15 million as their first summer acquisition.

After a cost is agreed upon, the Polish star may shortly be revealed as the newest addition to N17.

According to rumors in the Turkish media, Tottenham Hotspur is “closing in” on Sebastian Szymanksi, the forward for Fenerbahce.

The north London club and the Poland international had previously established connections, and there were rumors that an offer was on the way. Aslinda reports that Szymanski is prepared to relocate to England, suggesting that the Premier League and Turkish SuperLig clubs are nearing the finish of their negotiations.

According to the report, Szymanski and Spurs have reached a personal agreement in an attempt to finalize a four-year contract.

In July 2023, Szymanski was revealed as Fenerbahce’s newest addition. The winger agreed to pay £8.2 million for a four-year contract. Subsequently, he has made 55 appearances for the team in all competitions, contributing 19 more assists and 13 goals. With an astounding rate of one goal every 1.71 games, he would rank second in terms of productivity behind Son Heung Min if he maintained this level of play at Spurs.

The attacking midfielder, who most recently played in Poland’s 1-1 draw with France, was also included on the country’s Euro 2024 roster.
