Player accused of faking injury prior to Nottingham Forest move – Manager goes public about situation

Carlos Miguel will miss Corinthians’ match against Athletico Paranaense owing to an ankle injury, according to recent reports from Brazil.

The custodian, who is likely to join Nottingham Forest as soon as the Reds activate his release clause, was reported to be in discomfort and missed the journey to Curitiba as a result.

According to a report from Globo Esporte, his absence from the squad may have been due to a plausible reason.

According to the publication, Corinthians physicians examined Carlos Miguel and discovered no injuries, despite his complaints of ‘pain in both ankles’, and approved him to train and play.

Goleiro Carlos Miguel pode deixar o Corinthians

After the goalkeeper remained in São Paulo, manager Antonio Oliveira expressed his displeasure and announced his departure from the club.

“Carlos Miguel no longer plays for Corinthians. I have stated it before, and I will say it again in this group. Only those who want to be here at the club do so passionately, and many of those in this position today should be aware that many individuals aspire to represent one of the most prestigious clubs. It bothered me, it disturbs me, and Carlos Miguel will no longer play for Corinthians.

The custodian had already been suspended the weekend before for a completely needless push on an opponent, so he would miss Wednesday’s play as well. So it appears that the aim is to not play until Nottingham Forest really buys him.

Neto, a pundit on Band, thinks Carlos Miguel will travel to England on July 6th.

While Nottingham Forest are aware that they are signing a player who is making efforts to join them, the custodian is also aware that he will be detested at Corinthians for the rest of his career.
