“Outstanding” forward Fabrizio Romano says will have an Aston Villa physical today

Over the past few weeks, Aston Villa has been very active in the transfer market, and there has been a good deal of activity in recent days.

For example, the Villans and Juventus are rumored to be finalizing the terms of the player-plus-cash agreement that includes Douglas Luiz, Enzo Barrenechea, and Samuel Iling-Junior.

Ian Maatsen of Chelsea, who during his loan spell earlier this year assisted Borussia Dortmund in reaching the Champions League final, is also being pursued by Villa.

Fabrizio Romano has now given another significant update on Villa and Everton, revealing that the two teams have been in discussions on the potential transfer of two players.

Aston Villa will replace Everton in Lewis Dobbin’s lineup.

Tim Iroegbunam and Lewis Dobbin’s signings with Everton and Aston Villa have finally been finalized, according to the transfer insider, who wrote on X.

Iroegbunam’s medical has been completed, and he will be joining Everton permanently from Villa.

Dobbin, meanwhile, is scheduled to report for medical Friday in order to join the Villans from Goodison Park.

Romano said, “Documents to review then all done.”

Lewis Dobbin, the Aston Villa target, is who?

21-year-old forward Lewis Dobbin, who can play anywhere along the front line, is presently a player for Everton.

The gifted Stoke native came through the ranks of the Toffees’ academy as a young player. Additionally, he has been on loan to Derby County.

The former loanee of Derby is a “skillful and pacey striker who combines intelligent movement with ruthlessness in front of goal,” according to the team’s official website.

Dobbin returned five goals and six assists in 54 games for the Rams, earning manager Paul Warne’s commendation.

He told Limerick Live, quoting him, “He did some things outstanding, some things good and some things poor, which was the same with all the players.”

Dobbin scored his first goal of the season against Chelsea in December of last year, and he has made 20 appearances in competitive games for Everton’s senior team.
