According to Massilia Zone, Iliman Ndiaye has already said “yes” to a transfer to Everton as the team looks to work out a deal with Marseille.
Journalist “Adam” from Canal+ reported via X on June 20 that Everton and Marseille have intensified their talks with the former Premier League forward during the previous day.
With the player prepared to sign, the Toffees are reportedly keen to complete a deal as soon as possible; but, they must first comply with the criteria of the French club.
Everton is advancing swiftly toward its next summer transfer goal.
The early part of the transfer window is definitely not something the Toffees are playing about with. They have identified targets and tied down several players to new contracts, even though no signings have been officially announced.
Although Ndiaye is clearly a left-field player, Goodison Park would welcome this acquisition as he appears to be a very skilled player.
Half the challenge is done if the player is indeed open to a move. The Toffees must now negotiate a price with Marseille, preferably nothing outlandish.
That would be a great way to start the transfer window if the team can secure a deal. As one might anticipate, there will be outgoings in the upcoming days and weeks, but perhaps they will be balanced by arrivals.
Even though Ndiaye has played English football with Sheffield United, mostly in the Championship, he should not have a hard time adjusting when he does arrive.
