During the transfer window, Celtic is searching for a new goalkeeper to take Joe Hart’s place in the net.

The attention is now on his possible replacement, with a number of names connected to the team, including Sparta Prague’s Peter Vindahl Jensen, Newcastle United’s veteran Martin Dubravka, and Mark Travers of Bournemouth.

Even though there is still work to be done behind the scenes, Tosh McKinlay—who is currently employed by the Bhoys as a scout—has provided insight into what to anticipate from a new goalkeeper.

In an interview with The Daily Record, McKinlay emphasized how critical it was for Celtic to have a player who was a “big presence” both in the locker room and on the field.

“Joe was a big presence in the changing room,” he said.

It was a huge coup for us to sign him because he had been throughout the course—75 England caps attest to that.
