Attacker Iliman Ndiaye of Marseille is prepared to sign with Everton this summer.

According to French publication Massilia Zone, Iliman Ndiaye, a midfielder for Marseille, is prepared to join Everton this summer and has indicated his desire to play for the Goodison Park team.

The Ligue 1 club quickly rejected the Toffees’ approach for the Senegalese international after it was determined to be unsatisfactory.

Although personal details between Everton and Ndiaye have not yet been agreed upon, the Merseysiders are aware that he is very much open to the trade.

soon-to-be The final choice of the former Sheffield United player’s future at the Stade Velodrome club will be heavily influenced by Roberto De Zerbi, the new manager of Marseille, although Everton seems to have a chance after keeping an eye on him for some time.

After finishing 2022–23 with 14 goals and 10 assists in 46 games for the Blades in the Championship, the 24-year-old concluded 2023–24 with three goals and three assists in 30 league appearances.

Ndiaye would like to play in the Premier League again, and Everton is willing to give him the opportunity. His potential cost would be a little bit more than the £20 million Marseille spent on him in the summer of 2016.

The Toffees are determined to fulfill a deal for the Senegalese attacker as soon as possible, even if they must make a significant sell by the end of the month in order to comply with the Profitability and Sustainability guidelines.

His adaptability is a major draw for Everton, and manager Sean Dyche could use a player with his kind of versatility in his squad.

If a contract is reached, Ndiaye, who can play behind the striker as well as across the forward line, should light up Goodison Park with his combination of passing and dribbling abilities.
