Everton set to sign Tim Iroegbunam from Aston Villa

Things are starting to look up for the Toffees.

It’s been a dismal season at Goodison Park, salvaged only by the club’s ability to avoid relegation from the Premier League.

Takeover intrigue, financial instability, and point deductions have all hung over the club like a gloomy cloud. Finally, it appears that they have some good news to report.

Iroegbunam is a gifted footballer who was not given a chance at Villa Park. He will undoubtedly be given more minutes at Everton and may thus begin to realise his potential.

Everton now has a ready-made substitute in case Amadou Onana leaves.
With this signing due to be confirmed and the announcement of Harrison’s return to the club to come, it appears that the Toffees are looking ahead to next season, despite numerous players being linked with moves away.
