‘Things are happening’ – Aston Villa likely to sign player than Manchester United

Jean-Clair Todibo has been in the rumour mill for far longer than he should have been in the last six months, with reports of interest from a variety of teams appearing exaggerated.

According to Foot Mercato, Aston Villa is more interested than Manchester United, who are apparently boosted by Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s involvement.

Todibo plays for Nice, which, like Manchester United, is owned by Ineos. That is one component that has generated rumours that are most likely false.

Todibo previously played for Barcelona, and they are entitled to a share of any future transfers. That has prompted the Catalan media to take any suggestion of interest, such as from Manchester United or Arsenal, and inflate it to unprecedented heights.

All of this is meant to reassure Blaugrana fans that revenue will be generated, allowing the club to make signings.

Foot Mercato Report Todibo has a ‘exit voucher’ from Nice, indicating that he will be permitted to go. He was not selected for France’s Euro 2024 squad, therefore he now has time to contemplate his future.

According to the source, Bayer Leverkusen has the defender at the top of their priority list, while Borussia Dortmund is “more than convinced”. Juventus is said to have “started discussions.”

Aston Villa is the most probable Premier League team to be eliminated.

We’re taking everything with a grain of salt. Interest in Todibo has been exaggerated in recent months, and while this does not mean that no one is interested – there will be – it is impossible to take every report seriously.

Nonetheless, Foot Mercato adds that ‘things are happening’ with regard to his future.
