Tim Iroegbunam is the player in question, and the Birmingham Mail claims that the Villans are in advanced negotiations to sell him to Everton.
Iroegbunam, who moved to Villa Park from rival West Bromwich Albion three years ago, is reportedly free to go this summer.
The 20-year-old struggled to establish himself under Unai Emery’s tutelage last season, playing in just nine Premier League games with one start.
Villa’s sale of Iroegbunam would result in “pure profit,” which would strengthen their position financially before their June 30 account filing date.
