Everton hopes to accomplish a double swoop as a “very talented player” is about to make a low-cost transfer.

Jack Harrison is expected to leave Leeds United to join Everton.

Jack Harrison’s return to Everton is imminent.

The winger was on loan from Leeds United to Goodison Park during the previous campaign. In 35 games, he scored four goals and provided three assists as the Blues easily escaped relegation in the Premier League, even though he lost eight points for breaking profit and sustainability regulations.

Sean Dyche, the manager of Everton, is a huge fan of Harrison, who relished his time on Merseyside. Harrison’s contract has a clause allowing him to go out on loan if Leeds loses in the play-off final and aren’t promoted from the Championship.

Additionally, Everton is very close to signing the former Manchester City player back. The Athletic claims that the Toffees will pay Leeds’ salary instead of having to pay a loan fee.

Regarding Harrison, Dyche stated, “He has done very well.” He particularly excels in two roles when it comes to tactical understanding: wide or number 10. He has a great work ethic as well. He is incredibly skilled, as we have seen in training, and I have talked to him about realizing that potential. However, I still believe there is more to him. He has, in my opinion, performed consistently for us throughout the season and done really well.

For a reported cost of approximately £10 million, Tim Iroegbunam is reportedly in advanced talks to join Everton from Aston Villa.
