Leicester City’s Premier League return suddenly feels much more real following the announcement of the fixtures for the 2024/25 season.
Leicester City, who had won the Championship and qualified for the Premier League on their first try, were left without a manager two weeks ago when Enzo Maresca took up as Chelsea’s manager.
The club is in a desperate search for a new manager ahead of what is anticipated to be a relegation fight the next season, so this is bad timing.
The club can begin making plans for the upcoming season as soon as a manager is hired, but things may get more complicated if they lose their appeal against breaking Premier League spending regulations.
The Foxes may be punished points as a result, making the already difficult task they face even more difficult.
However, there is some good news as a statistic has emerged that shows Leicester could quickly claw back any points that could be deducted.
Leicester City have second easiest Premier League start

After analysing each team’s first ten games for the 2024–25 season, the Opta Power Rankings reveal that Everton has the easiest opening ten games while Wolves has the hardest.
Although Leicester has had the second-easiest start, they will feel a little let down because two of its probable relegation rivals, Everton and Forest, are also in the top three.
This indicates that they in the battle for survival.

Leicester begin the season on Monday 19th August at home to Tottenham Hotspur, whilst their first away game sees them travel to Fulham a week later.
