Newcastle United would be thrilled to buy a “superstar” for £60 million this summer.

Newcastle United has made it clear that they plan to sign a big-name star this summer.

It appears that PIF will make some significant additions to St. James’ Park this summer, as they have in the past. Alexander Isak and Sandro Tonali, the two most costly acquisitions for the Magpies, have come to us in huge money agreements.

Now that Eddie Howe is looking for a right winger, they might get another mega-money addition.

It appears that the majority of Newcastle’s transfer cash will go there, and they have already taken the first step toward signing a player with a £60 million release clause.

Michael Olise is of relevance to Newcastle

Newcastle United is showing interest in Michael Olise, and that is the price tag associated with signing him.

In an effort to get the 22-year-old to Tyneside, it was claimed last week that the Magpies had begun negotiations with Crystal Palace regarding a contract.

That won’t be simple, though, as Olise is drawing a lot of attention. Right now, Chelsea appears to be the subject of the majority of talk, and the attacker has no shortage of suitors. The two Manchester clubs, United and City, are eager as well as Bayern Munich.
Newcastle United’s feelings toward Michael Olise

Newcastle, on the other hand, lacks the allure of playing football in Europe to entice Olise to move to the Northeast.

Toon officials, however, are hoping that their ambitious idea will persuade the former Reading player to team up with Eddie Howe.

Furthermore, the Athletic claims that Newcastle United would genuinely want to sign Olise.

The Athletic do add, meanwhile, that Newcastle has long anticipated the Palace winger’s departure.

Actually, that seems rather possible. It is hard to see how Newcastle United can differentiate itself from the other clubs in the mix.

The other four clubs listed—Man City and Bayern Munich, two of which are in the Champions League—can provide European football. Olise is thought to have grown up as a Red Devil, therefore Man United might have a distinct advantage. Olise spent time with Chelsea during his youth career, therefore it might be a case of unresolved business for Chelsea.

They all need to sell their individual projects, too. On the other hand, that is all Newcastle possesses, along with the opportunity to play for Eddie Howe, who has a track record of developing players.

The Magpies may have to go elsewhere if Olise, who Jamie Carragher has dubbed a “superstar,” isn’t persuaded to join Newcastle by that alone.

However, after taking the initial step to try and sign Olise, Toon officials are at least throwing caution to the wind and taking a chance. It is a declaration of intent, a strong hint that a £60 million price tag won’t deter them.
