Everton have agreed to buy Aston Villa midfielder Tim Iroegbunam, according to Football Insider sources.

The 20-year-old is likely to join the Merseyside club permanently, expanding their options in central midfield.

The price will be in the range of £10 million, as Villa seeks to raise funds amid concerns about meeting Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

Football Insider reported earlier this month (7 June) that the Midlands giants needed raise £60 million in player sales this summer.

Iroegbunam is highly regarded within the Aston Villa hierarchy, but he has battled to find playing time under Unai Emery.
