Declan Rice describes his England teammates Marc Guehi and Ebere Eze in one word, no hesitation.

Declan Rice has given a one word description of all four Crystal Palace players who are in the England squad for this summer’s Euros.

With the Three Lions heading into the tournament as favourites, four Crystal Palace players will have the opportunity to be a part of something historic for England this summer.

Jude Bellingham’s goal gave Gareth Southgate’s team a first-round victory over Serbia, but not a decisive one, so things are looking up.

The players appear confident and in a good mood before of their Thursday match against Denmark, as evidenced by their smiles.

Declan Rice has now given a one-word summary of his four Selhurst Park-born England teammates from inside the camp.

Declan Rice gives one word description of each Crystal Palace player in the England squad

Rice was asked to sum up each and every one of his England colleagues in a single word while conducting some media appearances for the team on Tuesday.

When asked about Marc Guehi at first, Rice, an Arsenal midfielder, described the centre back as “intelligent.”

Rice didn’t exactly follow the rules when it came to Ebere Eze, his midfielder, and instead referred to the explosive forward as a “Nice Guy.”

Next was Dean Henderson, who Rice described as “mental” in the same way as the previous goalkeepers. Of course, goalkeepers—who are frequently mentally unstable—often experience this.

Finally, Rice commented on Adam Wharton, his most recent new midfield partner for England, just a week after praising him. Rice labelled Wharton as being “Silky”, which is high praise from arguably England’s best number six right now and in the past decade.

Crystal Palace No.6 Guehi’s intelligence is so underrated

Guehi is a center-half who has it all and will rank among the greatest in the world.

Even though he is only 23 years old, he already boasts the physical and technical attributes needed to be among the best centre halves in 2024. What is less generally known is his superb in-game IQ.

However, Guehi demonstrated his intelligence to the globe on Sunday against Serbia; Palace supporters are already aware of this as he is a well-known intellect.

Alan Pardew concurs, complimenting the defender on his ability to understand the game and avert issues before they arise.
