Calciomercato revealed on June 10th that Monchi, the director of Aston Villa, had conversations with the agent of the 28-year-old.
The Netherlands international’s contract expires in2025, and if there isn’t an extension, the Italian media has said Inter will have to sell him during the summer transfer window.
InterLive.It now claims that Aston Villa has led the transfer race and has been tracking the right-back for a considerable amount of time.
