Before Everton leaves Goodison Park, Southampton is their final opponent.

The last competitive match Everton will play at Goodison Park before moving to a new stadium is against SAINTS.

The season 2024–2025 of the Premier League will be the last one in which Everton will be played at the historic Stanley Park ground. Before 2025–2026, the Toffees will move to Everton Stadium, their first home since 1892 at Bramley–Moore Dock. On Sunday, May 17, the newly promoted Saints will play their final away game of the new season at Goodison Park.

As Sean Dyche’s team travels to Newcastle United on Sunday, May 25, the match is also Everton’s final home game of the season. Saints will be the last competitive match at Goodison Park, which has played host to more top-flight games than any other stadium in the United Kingdom. After the Premier League season ends, Everton will probably host memorial games at the stadium.

Saints won their only Premier League match under former manager Nathan Jones when they visited Goodison Park for the first time since 1997, with goals from James Ward-Prowse twice in January 2023. Saints were also the last league visitors to Man City’s Maine Road, defeating the hosts 1-0 in May 2003 behind a Michael Svensson goal.
