The most recent information on Aston Villa transfers, as sources from Scandinavia indicate

According to reports, Aston Villa has successfully signed 19-year-old full-back Ethan Amundsen-Day as their first summer move.

Last Friday was the official opening of the window, and Villa was involved in several transactions. The headlines in the West Midlands have been focused on departures thus far, but in recent weeks, several intriguing acquisitions have been mentioned.

the team has finalized their first summer signing.

Strong acquisitions will undoubtedly be needed for Unai Emery’s team coming into the 2024–2025 season, with the English premier league schedule being revealed on Tuesday. However, the Spaniard has also joined a project that he plans to oversee for many years to come, and as such, he has apparently again looked to one of Europe’s rising talents.

The contract of Norwegian Under-18 international Amundsen-Day is set to expire at the end of the month, marking his official departure from FC Copenhagen. Nettavisen, in his own country, and tipsbladet, in Denmark, have asserted that his free transfer to Villa after that is virtually confirmed.

Throughout his 50 appearances for the Under-19 team, he has proven adept at both left back and, as a backup, center back.

The 19-year-old was born in Leeds, England, to a Norwegian mother and an English father. With this move, he would be returning to his homeland. Amundsen-Day’s British citizenship will facilitate the issuance of a work permit.

According to both reports, he will join Josep Gombau’s Under-21 squad at Villa to start his career.
