Agents will be “rubbing their hands” over Celtic transfer rumors as Brendan Rodgers monitors a rival “star man.”

 

A former player claims that Luke McCowan’s agent is rubbing his hands together over a connection to Celtic.

On their return to the Premiership, Tony Docherty’s team secured a top six finish thanks in large part to the superb play of the Dundee star.

Lee Wilkie acknowledges that McCowan has been an exceptional player for the Dens Park team, despite reports that Celtic are keeping an eye on him.

In the midst of ongoing contract negotiations, the star’s agency will be happy about the connection, though.

“The Dark Blues have tabled an offer to their 26-year-old star man, who has declared himself keen to commit,” the former Dundee and Dundee United defender wrote in the Courier.
